Hands On! Adjustment Training for Yoga Teachers
So, you are a yoga teacher? Have you been taught how to sing opening mantras? Sure!
Now, can you cite the Bhagavad Gita as well? Oh, Prince Arjuna!
Light incense sticks? Dim the light and count to five? Yes, to all of the above?
Then, did they teach you how to fold a student into marichyasana D or yoga
mudrasana without injuring him? Hmmm, well ...
Seriously now, almost NO yoga teacher has received proper training in delivering safe,
correct and effective adjustments to his students during his professional education!
Just ask yourself, how you learned them? Copied your teacher? Intuition, somehow?
Do you prefer not to give adjustments?
The Hands On! Adjustment Training for Yoga Teachers as offered by Ashtanga
Yoga Munich is the missing element that allows you to be the teacher who knows
how to support students effectively in their development without hurting them or
touching them in an inappropriate way!
Learn the adjustments for ALL 68 asanas of the Ashtanga yoga Primary Series as
used by the world´s top Ashtanga yoga instructors within 16 hours of hard work and
lots of fun - and you can be confident that this is really an add-on to your knowledge
about yoga that will be a pay off for your students and yourself!
The training lasts two full days. The participants learn to deliver safe, correct and
effective adjustments by practising them one-on-one under the guidance of Thomas
who himself has learned them from David Swenson, Manju Pattabhi Jois and Nancy
Gilgoff.
The 68 asanas of the Primary Series are useful for teachers of other yoga styles as
